Middleton Events is the first in the world (that we know of) to launch remoteDj App, your very own virtual DJ at your event. For those wanting more than a Spotify playlist, we’ll personalise, produce and pre-record your event with all your introductions, special announcements, formalities and pre mix your cocktail, dinner and party playlist with professional voice overs. All your special songs professionally announced and introduced ready for you to play…..without a live DJ!
All you need to do, is download our remoteDj app at your event, enter your exclusive ‘Event ID’ number and push play/pause on all your personalised introductions announcements and music playlists.
Simply play on your own device and plug into your venues PA, or we can provide a PA/DJ system for you. A perfect personalised DIY turnkey solution for venues, weddings, conferences, private events, social gatherings and festivals.
Here’s a brief overview of how it works and the steps to booking your remoteDj!
STEP 1 - Book and Start Planning
With over 30,000 events experience, we know the right questions to ask that will allow you to plan the best event. Our questionnaires and forms allows us to extract all the right information, with the right transitions to start planning our production.
Middleton Events provides all clients with their own exclusive online planning portal which allows you to login and watch the countdown to your event. You have an exclusive ‘Event ID’ number which will allow you to commence the planning your event.
You can also view all of your event details, make changes if needed, update music requests, timelines, plan your formalities, speeches and procedures, contact us, make payments, digitally sign documents and much more.
It will even allow your guests to login and request or dedicate songs to you prior to your event! All the information we need to commence production.
STEP 2 - Tell Us About Your Event
We’ll have meetings with you to discuss your music, ideas, plans and what’s important to you, so we can start to lay out the technical elements for the production of your event.
This is a great opportunity for us to clearly see the musical direction of your event, we’ll also understand what style and genre of music you’re looking for, along with the mood and flow of your event.
We’re here to help with recommendations and tailor your production to your needs. Our DJs and MCs are Fun, Engaging, Professional and focused on first class production like we are present at your event.
We have a comprehensive checklist and planning systems to capture all your details, including vital information and contingency plans.
We will also provide you with all the tools, timelines and event checklists where you’ll have your own planning portal, along with some great ideas, so you can plan with confidence knowing you have partnered with the very best!
We will arrange a virtual meeting either in person or a zoom meeting to confirm your selections and planning via your online portal. We will need approximately 30-45 minutes of your time before we commence production.
STEP 4 - Production Commences
Our production team will take all of your timelines, speeches, introductions, planning information, guests requests, music selections and commence production in our studio.
Your remoteDj app will allow you to play all your announcements, special dances and speeches in order for a smooth transition when formalities start.
These can include;
- Professional Voice Overs – Scripted Introductions
- Special Announcements i.e. Speeches, Cake Cutting etc.
- Introduction and Announcement of Speakers – Virtual MC
- Venue House Keeping and COVID Regulations
- Last Drinks and Departure Announcements
Your music folders will be professionally mixed using our Virtual DJ Software and divided into three categories;
1. Cocktail/Dinner Music – 2 hours
2. Party Music – Post Speeches – 2-4 hours
3. Special Songs i.e. First Dance, Father/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Dance etc.
One week before your event, you will be locked out of editing your information in order for us to produce your event. Once production is completed, we will be in contact with you to finalise arrangements and discuss delivery.
STEP 4 - Produced and Delivered
Your event memories, stories, announcements and music along with the style and mood of your event, is all captured and ready to bring to life!
We’re ready to party and your event production is delivered!
Your event production is created and delivered to you via our remoteDj app where you can listen, rehearse and check all announcements and music selections. Any late changes to your production may incurr additional costs.
You’ll be ready to plug and play into your venue’s PA system, or you can hire a PA system from us and we can set it up for you!
