I can not recommend John & his team enough. We had a turbulent wedding planning experience due to Covid-19 but John and his team were in our corner every step of the way. We had John firstly as our celebrant and he put us both at ease and created a fun and relaxed service.
Both my husband and I were dreading doing our vows in front of a crowd but John made it so fun and we were super comfortable. We had such a great time and couldn’t stop laughing (which kept the tears away) we had so many comments about ours being the best wedding some had ever been to.
Sonya was our wedding planner and day of coordinator and took care of every possible detail from setting our gifts, chairs and even sowing up a bridesmaids dress – nothing was too much trouble.

Here’s what’s involved when choosing a Middleton Events Wedding with Sonya our Wedding Planner.
Step 1 - Initial Consultation
When you make an enquiry, we’ll call you to discuss you wedding plans and arrange a no obligation meeting with our Wedding Planners! Both of us will get a good feel for how you want your wedding to unfold and if you’re not sure, we have the experience to guide you through the process. You will see from not only our experience, but also from our back end management systems, that we guarantee no detail is forgotten or missed!
Step 2 - Guarantee of Service
You are guaranteed only the very best reputable suppliers that we have worked with at over 13,000 weddings. The due diligence in selecting the right suppliers given your brief is done for you by the team at Middleton Events. We guarantee to provide an unparalleled level of service like no other. Your Wedding Planner will provide detailed information, timelines, briefing notes etc. to all suppliers and you have the choice to meet with all suppliers direct or with your planner.
Step 3 - Save Time and Money
We estimate you’ll save hundreds of hours of your own time and in some cases over $7,000 of genuine savings. We have long and trusted relationships with only the best suppliers, providing peace of mind knowing you’ve partnered with the very best. Our rates negotiated for you, are based on both peak and off peak times according to availabilities. you will also receive FREE VOUCHERS to go shopping and put the finishing touches of your wedding. You choose your preferences and we’ll do our very best to deliver those suppliers. So you save hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars! One wedding, One bill.
Step 4 - Confirm Wedding Package and Selections
Once you’ve received all the information you need, we will leave it with you for your perusal. Should you choose to engage us to plan the wedding of your dreams, you’ll be asked to pay a 30% deposit to secure your booking along with a booking agreement to cover both parties. The balance of your wedding is payable in full 2 weeks before. Payments are placed into a secured account and all payments distributed to suppliers 2 weeks before your wedding. You can also make regular payments at your will should you choose. Your Wedding Planner will be assigned to you to look after you every step of the way. You can choose from various suppliers and make your own selections in consultation with your Wedding Planner. You can tailor your package and add extra guests, swap, add inclusions or upgrade direct with your supplier at will!
Step 5 - Start Planning
It’s at this stage we’re all getting a bit excited and the planning phase is well underway and it’s the best part of the process (apart from getting married and the party). It’s full steam ahead and your Wedding Planner will liaise with you direct, to ensure all confirmations, contracts, supplier and venue bookings are accurate and locked away. If you have any questions, changes or concerns, simply call your Wedding Planner and we will action. We want to ensure your wedding is FUN, STRESS FREE & THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIVES!
Step 6 - Your Wedding Day
All the planning has now come to fruition and all you need to do is relax, smile and enjoy every minute of your special day. Your Wedding Planner will be with you on the day to liaise with all suppliers, look after all the detail and will not leave until all formalities have concluded.
